Breadth of experiences, good for skill-building and client experiences
Pros
- Variety across project work and industry exposure - Plenty of room for growth in pay and responsibilities - Very collaborative culture, colleagues across offices are fun, cool, and always willing to help out with insights or technical work - Pays nicely, with very flexible PTO benefits - Leadership and management consistently listen to your passion areas (i.e. "I want more exposure in XYZ industry" --> likely to lead to client opportunity in that industry) and skills you want to grow (i.e. product management, experiences with SQL, etc.)
Cons
- Work hours can be overwhelming when project timelines overlap - If it's a busy period, people can be heads down in the office and senior team leaders are a bit inaccessible - When your team is understaffed, you may have to juggle extra work on other engagements until new hires come on board
