Great Company that Cares About it's Employees

Pros

The company culture is great everyone really works together in order to get the projects we need to do done. The open door policy allows you to have direct relationships with upper management and this allows work to be completed much more efficiently. The job is challenging and face paced, and allows you to work on a variety of different tax projects.

Cons

Only Con is the extensive work that needs to be done during busy season, but this is expected at any tax firm or accounting firm for that matter.

less hour than a big 4, learn more because you are completing a tax return from start to finish. pay is slightly more competitive starting, but long term career outlook is better and higher paying at a big 4 company. outside of busy season very lax atmosphere; come in late, leave early, browse internet.

Cons

busy season. mandatory 50 chargeable hours which equates to working from 8am-10pm every night and mandatory five hour saturdays.

WTAS provides great experience in both tax and valuation positions. It is a great place to start your career where you will gain immediate experience.

Cons

There aren't many negative things to say about WTAS. Great place to start your career, great exposure to big clients, and an excellent place to improve your technical skills.
