Pros

relatively little oversight. no one is hovering over you while you do your job

Cons

1.) the pay is honestly insulting. every other merchandising gig in the area pays significantly more, for less work. 2.) the hours are awful. you wake up at the crack of dawn just to spend multiple days resetting the same vitamin display or jello aisle. the work is mind numbingly boring and repetitive. its also way more physical than you probably realize. NOT WORTH IT. 3. the store managers see the reset team as an inconveniece to them and the rest of their staff half the time. makes for really awkward beginnings. 4. your training has nothing to do with what you wil actually be doing on the job. i.e. youre training with a completely separate team and its a complete waste of time. 5. none of your coworkers have any motivation to do the work, let alone show up. trust me, i quit after 3 months. if you have any semblance of self respect- DO NOT WORK HERE. RUN THE OTHER WAY.

Pros

None. There were some good things before they let artificial intelligence take over, but those are gone now.

Cons

Your schedule changes each day around 3am via text. It will also change as your day goes on. Very unpredictable schedule. Hard to plan your life around. If you have kids DO NOT APPLY! Artificial intelligence controls the schedule. You will be scheduled 14 hours one day and 2 hours the next, then around noon your schedule might change again. It is madness. You will ruin your car. I clocked almost 100k miles in 2+ years. They offer gas reimbursement that is low and spotty, but they do not account for car repairs, like oil changes, tires, etc... my car is a brick now. Corporate has no idea what they are doing. They will assign one hour to do a sixteen hour task, then assign twenty minutes to do a task that takes one minute. They are beyond clueless. You will have roughly a dozen+ stores to take care of. I didn't mind that so much, but dealing with so many staff and managers can get overwhelming. The artificial intelligence started emailing stores my schedule. "Why weren't you here at 5am yesterday!?". Well, because I don't work that early, and I had a ten hour task at my other store yesterday. Do not apply here unless you have no kids, no life or responsibilities, and do not mind ruining your car.
