Excellent storytellers. Very exciting-sounding work.

Cons

Reality does not match the story. Petty politics. Merit takes a backseat. Low-trust environment. Backstabbing not disciplined "this is part of the culture".

Pros

Good benefits, cool projects, some good co-workers. Free food is cool too I guess.

Cons

Many program roll-outs and demos are not conducted properly and marketing exaggerates product capability. Recently had a massive exodus of employees due to a botched demo (multiple high-profile employees have quit recently due to a mix of burn-out and a bunch of political crap that some other people have already talked about here). Thankfully, leadership spun up bull to make it look as if everything is hunky-dory! Management is incompetent and a lot of engineers are tired of covering their stupidity. The hiring craze has also led to a lot of morons doing engineering work at this company. I'm leaving as soon as I find something better.
