Pros

Remote work & Health Care Benefits

Cons

Not only is the training drawn out & so boring, the trainers weren't honest about how the customers are "really" treated. If the customer gets a bad lead - too bad, they are going to pay for it regardless. The team managers are all about puffing about what a great company Angi is & how you must do what they say. They are very aggressive to employees.

Pros

Management and Coworkers were pleasant.

Cons

It felt like the product (leads for contractors) was not a great tool for the customers. Most customers/ contractors did not see much success in using the lead system. If Angi sales reps were allowed to teach the contractors some tips about how to use the system contractors might fair better. But giving useful insights might lead to fewer lead purchases by the contractors, So. . .

Pros

Work from home, good hours, and good benefits are provided. If you have a good manager. you will be fine. The training is second to none, and I felt confident after completing it. Also, the hiring process with the team was seamless

Cons

The work environment is characterized by constant change and complexity. making it extremely difficult for new representatives to succeed. Rapid Change and Lack of Support: Having been here for six months. l've observed that the company environment and processes change almost weekly. After initial training, support is virtually non-existent. creating a "sink or swim" culture. New representatives are tasked with years of cleanup and damage control. High Churn and Unreliable Leads: There is high turnover, even among the most promising leads (the "hot" ones). The only reliable leads are online or inbound inquiries, which are only "trickled down" if top-performing representatives don't claim them fast enough. Unrealistic Metrics and Fear of Termination: The metrics used to measure pertormance do not reflect reality and are applied inconsistently. The focus is on proving yourself in an environment that is not set up for success. with failure being a common outcome for the majority. Furthermore, a single poor month can lead to termination, regardless of effort to control controllable factors. Misguided Company Focus: The company's focus is disproportionately on satisfying shareholders rather than providing customers with what they need, establishing a clear growth path for new representatives. or fostering, a secure work environment. The goals for new representatives are almost untouchable. The company's processes are overly complex, leading to little to no commission for new reps for the first 6-8 months, even with consistent effort. This difficulty is compounded by having to sift through countless fake opportunity leads just to connect with a handful of real contacts. often resulting in performance paperwork. The company needs to simplify its operations and set realistic, achievable goals for new hires to promote success and growth. Google the company
