Thank you for leaving an honest review. We extend a generous PTO policy to our team members and we're glad you were able to utilize this during the holidays! We empower our sales representatives through comprehensive training to help each team member succeed and created specialization verticals this past year to increase individual earning potential. We aren't able to discern what sales tactics you are specifically referencing within your review, but recommend to team members that have inquiries about policies to reach out to their supervisor or myself directly to discuss further. We wish you the best on your next endeavor. - Tom Cheatham, SVP Sales Strategy

Pros

Work from home but very micromanaged and watched over

Cons

If you are considering working here and reading reviews, I’d highly recommend focusing on the negative ones. There are many puppets on the sales team here that have no morals, and have sold their souls for a paycheck by lying and scamming hard-working, honest blue-collar contractors. I worked here for over a year and did well until I couldn’t handle the BS anymore and the pressure that was put on me to lie to people. You could be calling a contractor in the middle of Wyoming and can see in the system that there is no work in the area, yet you are expected to tell them there are homeowners waiting to hire once the contractor gives us their credit card information to sign up. Your managers will do anything for a sale, including signing a contractor up for work they don’t do, or don’t agree to do. You will also sign up contractors in a state where they might not be licensed to do certain work, but your manager will have you sign them up in a neighboring state that they don’t agree to work in and could be an hour+ away, all because that state doesn’t require a license for that work. You will sign contractors up that will spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on leads based on lies and never land a job. You are expected to tell contractors that we only send the leads to 2-3 other contractors even though it can be much more. I don’t believe the system limits how many people in the area get the lead. I have firsthand experience from hearing contractors tell me that they arrived at an estimate and there were 4 other contractors there to bid. Worst of all, my cousin used the product and told me she had the same issue. The progressive pay scale incentivizes managers and sales reps to practice shady tactics because the pay can get very high after you reach a certain benchmark. Only way to fix this is to bump up the base salary to a reasonable amount and lower the commission pay significantly. This is a garbage product and company and the only reason they bet any positive reviews is because of how much money they pay for sales and the only reason they do is because they steal from contractors to support the pay. It’s like the goal is to sign everyone up so we can drain as much money from their bank account/credit card before they inevitably cancel.
