Pros

Quick Advancement if you are mobile. Sales training program places college graduates into mid level management positions.

Cons

Senior management applies a paralysis by analysis mentality. Senior management demands results, but often does not supply the means to deliver. Upward movement tilted away from experience and more to push trainees to higher positions. Bonus rarely gets paid out, often receiving full year targets half way through the year. Work/Life balance is preached, but is not followed. Region VP's are from outside the US for the most part, and do not understand US dynamics of day to day business and customer relationship needs.

Pros

Pay was pretty good and 2 cases of beer a month. Benefits were ok.

Cons

Outsourcing. No job is safe, blue collar, white collar, doesn't matter, they will find someone in India to pay 3 bucks an hour to do the job you earned a degree to get. Sr. Management is completely clueless about business in the U.S. with constant sales declines that they make up for by increasing price. Beer is made using substandard ingredients sourced from the cheapest farmers they can take advantage of by refusing to pay them 6+ months after receiving what they ordered. Employees are not listened to unless you kiss some Brazilian's rear end. The whole work environment is toxic, avoid at all costs.

Number One Brewer in the World

Pros

The beer industry is fun, complex and interesting. ABI has been aggressive in the industry transforming itself into the worlds largest brewery. It is the largest brewery in the US. The Pay is average at best but benefits are still pretty good in comparison.

Cons

There seems to be a slant towards youth movement in the company since the acquisition. It comes at a cost of experience and relationships with both retailers and wholesalers. Turnover has accelerated over the past few years. Variable compensation is terrible.
