      the people are great to work with.

      Cons

      If you compare A-Bs pay to other breweries (even craft), A-B usually pays significantly lower than other breweries. It's very political and bureaucratic. Also doing a lot of lay-offs right now, be aware.

      Solid company with budget issues

      Pros

      You'll work with passionate people, wholesalers, retailers, and brewery reps. The resources available to do the job are top quality. The pay is on the high side of fair.

      Cons

      Do not expect annual salary increases or bonus achievement. These are quite rare. Opportunity for advancement is limited unless you are mobile or St. Louis/New York based.

      Opportunities in Flux

      Pros

      As times are changing, hiring and layoffs are creating opportunities for lateral and vertical advancement. The company may or not respond well in your area to new initiatives but have responded well in my area to individuals with greater willingness to embrace additional responsibilities.

      Cons

      AB is not well liked popularly as a brand in some spaces, and alcoholic beverages as a subset of CPG tends to feel limiting when it's time to move on. Another con is that many see this company as a stepping stone for something better with little dedication to the mission.
