Pros

- Well known company. - Free Beer.

Cons

- No work life balance (work 60-80 weeks including weekends and rotating shifts). - Pays a national average salary, so working in States like California doesn't support high cost of living. - Expect harsh conditions in a production environment where accidents are likely to happen and chemical exposure. - For engineers, there is no growth in your career. Only will be good if trying to pursue a management career path.

Thank you for your review. With regards to our compensation model and average salary, we budget for salary increases similar to other companies and we’re selective when allocating those increases because we have a culture that rewards for performance. Additionally, safety is our top priority, and we have clear expectations for all our employees to wear the proper protection at all times. We also understand that work life balance can be a challenge, so we would encourage you to work with leadership to help prioritize tasks to create balance in your day.

Pros

Pay is fantastic. Every employee is included in monthly business meetings keeping us up to date and informed on our model and products. It's a great place to learn about the general mechanics of operation and expand your business knowledge. For the most part, the people working with you are friendly, inclusive, and genuinely want the company to succeed. Union contracts have set a solid foundation for stability and benefits.

Cons

Due to continuous budget constraints, a large portion of the automation is barely managing to hold on or broken and forgotten. Due to a wide variety of factors, employees are completely overworked on every level. Involuntary overtime has been consistent since the beginning of the pandemic. Failing equipment means manpower is used to fill in the gaps, exacerbating the worker shortage. Union benefits are slowly corroding with each contract under the guise of current employees being grandfathered in. Union protections are very good at keeping everyone employed, including people who shouldn't be.
