Pros

There are great brands in the portfolio to work on but the toxic culture fostered by management makes it challenging to consider the company as a long term career option.

Cons

There is a disconnect between the values the company publicly espouses and its actions. The majority of senior management decisions reflect a lack of integrity in responsible governance of company resources. At some point, the lack of investment in managing the business and positioning the company for growth will adversely affect the bottom line and become transparent to investors.

401K match up to 8.5%; Good health plans; company car for most field employees

Cons

Low salaries compared to comparable roles in other companies; Unrealistic KPIs; Hard to advance unless you come out of the Sales Management Trainee program; Upper management (mostly from Brasil) out of touch on how to conduct business in the US

Pros

- Free beer - Exciting industry - Hard working employees

Cons

- No work/life balance. Expect to work 60-90 hours a week - Constant re-orgs and a forced ranking system where 10% of employees are put on “recovery plans” and often let go. This fear driven culture has led to an exodus of people. - Base salaries used to be competitive, but are now below market rates - Even if you hit 100% of your individual targets, the bonus payout is little to nothing as sales continue to fall at an increasing rate - Most people are unhappy. There is a significant trust issue within the company, but management does not care. It’s all about cutting cost. Unfortunately, this has led to falling sales as they are only hiring college grads with no experience since experienced sales and marketing professionals would want a competitive wage and reasonable culture.
