      Pros

      The agency has a great mission, and there are a lot of talented employees working for APHIS. There's a lot of innovation, often driven by creative, dedicated employees.

      Cons

      Politics, bureaucracy, and horrible managers (some, not all) who stifle innovation because solutions don't fit into their scorecards or little boxes of predefined solutions.

      Great place to work, great work life balance. The agency has a family-feel to it which helps make you feel like you're at home.

      There are some budget problems and organizational problems which make working less efficient. The typical cons of any government agency.
