Pros

This company is willing to take a chance on young adults that have just recently graduated college. I worked there for 6 months (as a technical recruiter) in the Tampa headquarters. They provided me with proper training to know the basics of recruiting. The manager of that office was friendly and always willing to help you if you asked for it. He also set the expectations that would be demanded of you. The pay a fair salary and reward people that show initiative.

Cons

But at the end of the day recruiting is a cutthroat business and you will not only be competing against other recruiting companies but you will also be competing against the recruiter sitting right next too you. The only type of person who should work as a recruiter for this company is a very cold person who doesn't mind screwing over a coworker to get themselves ahead. Recruiters will look at your computer screen while you are away from your desk or even while you are working to try and get ahead of you and will bad mouth you just to advance themselves. There is no sort of professional curiosity at all in this company. There is no kind of team element in this industry. This type of work is only for someone who is always looking out for themselves and does not care if they have to screw over a person that they sit next to for 40 hours a week to advance themselves. I will admit that I did not have the personality traits to excel at this position but in all honesty they are looking for someone that has the same thought process as a used car salesman. Do absolutely anything you can do to get ahead of your fellow recruiters. Just in a more sophisticated setting that a used car lot. They are will to tell their contractors things that they are 99% sure are not going to happen to further their company. This only occurs some of the time but it was still not something that I was ok with. So in the end I am not really talking down on Anistar (if you have this sort of personality the this is a company that will let you use it to excel and pay you accordingly for it) but I am talking down on the low voltage recruiting industry. At least that has been my experience. Also they expect you to be available to answer emails/calls at anytime of the day or night regardless of your personal life. So basically I would only recommend this position to someone who is willing to completely devote their life to their work and is willing to do whatever they can to get ahead, regardless if it means screwing someone over to get there. If this is your type of personality then this is the job for you and this is a good company to work for to achieve it.
