      Flexible office requirement, but toxic management and layoffs

      Pros

      6 days a month office requirement was nice most people leave by noon.

      Cons

      Toxic micromanagement at the senior leadership level. No clear direction just get it done mentality. SS&C Singularity is a broken product with no future. Be prepared to spend hours working around problems that would be considered basic functionality for other systems. They layoff about 10 percent every year to keep margins inline. Not sustainable.

      Good networking opportunities, but low pay and long drives

      Pros

      You gain a lot of experience and you network while working. This company is about 85 percent filling in temporary work assignments while the rest is permanent job offers.

      Cons

      You drive a lot to assignments where you are under paid and working hard. They don't take under consideration how far you drive, the high gas prices, your experience and the high cost of living these days.

      Pleasant colleagues, but company lacks substance

      Pros

      Flexible schedule. Primarily remote. Genuinely pleasant colleagues but few and in between.

      Cons

      Too lengthy to list but essentially a shell of a company with few redeeming qualities. Bait and switch hiring techniques. Very very high employee turnover. Nepotism is rampant. Churn and burn environment that spits you out like garbage. Please only accept a job here if you are desperate. I have no words to adequately describe this place. The worst company I have worked for in my 30 year experience as a working professional. Be prepared to work until you are running on fumes. If this review can save one person from working here, I have done my job on this green earth.
