The accolades Ansys receives for being a good place to work are well deserved for many reasons but beware the customer facing high frequency electronics group. A toxic cabal has risen to power and made the organization very political. Several senior contributors have been forced out of the company after years of productive employment and good performance reviews. Other good engineers have scrambled to get into different organizations to avoid a toxic manager. Promotions and good work assignments have been handed out to loyalists who were otherwise underqualified for the job. Nonetheless, Ansys is a large and successful company. There are many different groups and good career opportunities here.
