      Good Company, Slow Promotion, All depends on licking your boss

      Pros

      - Good salary - Good Office Environment - Nice incentives & bonus scheme

      Cons

      - You have to lick your manager's XXX to get promoted & get incentive - Promotion cycles are longer, again it depends on from where you work from - People works outside of HQ (outside of USA) are treated as 3rd grade citizens - Everything is top-down. Management has no clue on what is happening in the ground.

      Pros

      Good pay, benefits, and the company is financially sound

      Cons

      The management in some areas specifically around the Applications teams leaves a whole lot to be desired. They are more interested in covering the fact that they are relatively inept than trying to work on issues or solve problems and are known throughout their teams to take credit for the work of the individuals. If you have any sort of personal issues or disabilities, the company does not seem to care. They send out surveys and ask for honest feedback, but when you give it, it can be held against you.
