Pros
Great technology and the industry leader in simulation. Good pay and bonus structure, as well as retention for key employees. Pretty good work/life balance. Recently, management has made a more focused effort to improve diversity in the workforce.
Cons
Very challenging and bespoke technology stack that is like an onion that contains more onions. The company has become very large, and fragmented, which makes it hard to enact change. A tendency to organize functional teams which means every project needs multiple team coordination. Slow to make progress, and slow to adapt to changes in software industry.
