      Pros

      I have been working at Ansys for a little over 18 months. So far it's been a stellar experience. The company has great people, big ideas, and a comfortable work environment. - Everything you need to do your job well, and comfortably - Easy to reach out to management if you need something - Great location and well maintained facility - Decent compensation and benefits - An atmosphere of integrity, innovation, and forward progress - Multiple avenues of communication between departments

      Good WLB but low pay and career progress

      Awesome work-life balance. No stress Helpful colleagues. Health, Dental, and other insurance is provided

      Cons

      Very Very slow career progress. Recently the system was modernized but it's still very slow. Slow at adapting to new technologies. Tons and tons of legacy code and technical debt.Ex:(MFC is still being used for GUI graphics) No stock grants or RSU's for most people Low pay and bonuses when compared to other tech companies in the area. Many old timers who won't accept new ideas
