      -Amazing product; definitely going places in the future -Undisputed leader in FEA simulation -Great benefits (stock plan, 401k match, education reimbursement) -Bright future; vision for company -No micro management, flexibility with worklife balance -Encouraged employment advancement throughout company -Great pay/commission/bonus structure

      -Insurance could be better -That's my only complaint

      Intellectually rewarding and very flexible with work schedules

      Cons

      Software portfolio is all over the place, which makes integrating projects a big patchwork of sorts. Career trajectories are somewhat gradual, and putting in more effort is hardly rewarded - leading to burn-outs and lack of motivation. Salaries appear to be pretty sub-par compared to similar roles in other software industries, considering the fact that a lot of employees have advanced degrees.

      Pros

      ANSYS has a varied development environment that allowed me to learn a lot about the industry. They have good benefits and their product is industry-leading.

      Cons

      ANSYS has undergone a lot of reorganization in recent years and they still seem to be disorganized (as of 2017). Their management doesn't seem to have a clear vision and didn't commnicate their vision. As not many experienced people leave the company, it is difficult for entry-level employees to rise up the ranks
