      Pros

      You can get really lucky and have a good manager or a non-toxic/non-racist team mate always trying to make you look stupid by withholding key information about issues you are working on from you and then going behind your back to solve the same issues to take all the praise and make you look incompetent.

      Cons

      You will most likely not be lucky! And When you hear "I will not micro-manage you" just run for your life.
