      Pros

      The people here are very kind and the culture is a great mix of flexible/trusting and innovative. You're trusted to get your work done without micromanagement while still having the support you need.

      Cons

      It would be great if the ERGs could throw more virtual events for community building. With how large Ansys is, it's hard to meet colleagues sometimes.

      A Professional and Supportive Employer

      Pros

      The communication within the teams and company overall is professional and friendly. They respect personal boundaries. I have had a family grievance during my first 90 days, and they were very supportive. The Paid time off policy is quite generous with recharge days, volunteer day, personal days, in addition to the traditional vacation days, and statuary holidays. I have a hybrid working arrangement that is completely flexible. Pay matches market rate at companies with similar size with strong emphasis on long-term employment. The employee benefits are comprehensive and reasonable.

      Cons

      Despite the ability to work fully remotely, there is a limitation on working internationally for personal reasons. The culture encourages long-term employment, it is common to see managers with 20+ years at Ansys. This makes it suitable for employees seeking stability. However, it can be harmful to compensation and experience over many years.
