Great company that values you as a person instead of a number
Pros
Great culture, definitely understand that we work hard to live, but we don't live to work hard. The time we put into our career and being successful is rewarded by being able to have a great work/life balance with family. Very much a carrot-not-stick company where if you are struggling, so long as you are putting in the effort to get better, they will be there to support you and help you find success. Company is very forward thinking, and working very hard to improve processes across the board, and most importantly asking for feedback in regards to the changes made. Very much a culture where a rising tide raises all ships and I have always had a large, nationwide support group to brainstorm new ideas, discuss struggles, and rely on for overall friendship and support.
Cons
Aforementioned work/life balance can be direct manager dependent, but higher ups definitely value it, so it comes to setting appropriate boundaries with who you report to. Not the best benefits package, could have better medical options as well as better 401k matching. However this is likely coming. They've made other great advances in benefits (paid paternity leave, covering of gender reassignment surgery, etc.) so I have to believe this is on their radar.
