A lot of heart with less organization

Pros

The university is a very good place to work, with dedicated and caring people. Enacting its mission of social justice is visible at every level and with every endeavor. People are some of the kindest I’ve had the privilege to work with, and they help students to grow and contribute to society in meaningful ways after graduation.

Cons

The organization itself is chaotic and siloed. People are generally resistant to and suspicious of suggestions that don’t come from within their small departments, though they rarely have any means to see things in a bigger picture view that would put the changes in context.
