Pros

- Compensation was excellent - I had a wide range of responsibilities and learning opportunites

Cons

- Segmented departments with very little collaboration across teams - Toxic middle management that was obsessed with KPIs and minute details - Culture is extremely rigid and unfriendly to employees, On my team, small talk and chatting about anything unrelated to work tasks was discouraged - Bad work/life balance - Manager put me on a PIP in my second week on the job, I met his expectations for a year before he was able to convince HR to terminate be for non-specific "Performance issues"

Pros

Work Life Balance and flexability

Cons

As a large corporation, Aon has multiple layers of management, which can slow down decision-making. Internal processes and approvals can be time-consuming and frustrating
