People don't recommend Aon for a reason

Pros

I was only there a few months before choosing to quit. I had read the reviews and didn't believe the things people said, but I was wrong. If 52% of people would recommend Aon to a friend, that means that nearly the same amount WOULDN'T recommend it.... the warning signs are all there, I just didn't pay attention. The good things: -Great location: close to a ton of restaurants with plenty of amenities in the building (multiple places to eat, starbucks, a bank, post office, and more) -Occasional fun events (if your group will let you attend them) -Many young minds (some people may see this as bad, I saw it as a good step away from "this is how we've always done it" mindsets)

Cons

-Management: In might short time at Aon, I could tell there is something going on with management. How is somebody that has only been out of college in the workforce for two years already managing multiple employees?? Favoritism runs rampant, regardless of one's knowledge/skills/abilities. If you're not "in" with somebody important or working your way that direction, it doesn't matter how good you are at your job. -Hours: Feel free to work at Aon if you don't mind putting in the hours. Of all the people I met, I had the best hours and typically put in at least three 11-hour days per week, usually more. -Outdated technology: computers were slow and often had issues that required assistance from the IT group -Turnover rate: if you don't get conveniently pushed from your group into another group, watch out for the first opportunity they get to fire you. Lots of people move in and out of Aon.
