Pros

Aon has a lot of automation so it is easy to get information on their intranet. They have a good mentoring network you can sign up for and very good benefits.

Cons

Affinity was one of the companies Aon had aquired. The management was incompetent and told us that they were behind us, believed in our branch growing, etc. However, they made some very bad business decisions and used us to deal with our angry clients. Then, once the situation had been contained they laid all of us off, except for the incompetent managers.

Pros

One has his/her own development in their own hands. Possible to "hoover above the field'. You will not find comparable high responsibility and sort of contact levels within other professions in the beginning of your career. The business network is huge.

Cons

Not an efficient administrative workload, like in the total insurance industry. Developments however in sight.
