Pros

There is no room for personal growth just try to keep up with everything that is thrown at you. Work life balance is unheard of unless you are a Senior Broker or in the Energy Group

Cons

Trying to determine how to work thru the land mines of the fraternity. There is no winning in the Houston office. If you are not white and male, forget about it. Look around.

Pros

Very good place to learn. Good access to senior people at OTHER companies (CEO's, CFO's) which can give you some sense of personal worth.

Cons

The organization has a select few people who must be getting paid i suppose. I don't know any of them however as the corporate culture is extremely poor. Seems as if senior management is ok with the churn and burn technique, only interested in those that will "drink the cool-aid".
