Great work culture

Pros

Excellent benefits include 401k, insurance, and other benefits such as personal liability excess insurance. Work from home 2.5 days a week and ample day PTO and personal holidays.

Cons

Slow advancement, low pay, and entry-level training are subpar. You must be individually motivated to learn about your role; there isn't a successful training program for new to-industry hires. Furthermore, there's often conflicts between Account executives and Brokers that negatively affect client results.

Pros

The company culture is exceptional - Aon supports diversity and unconscious bias at the fore as well as making well-being and work-life balance a top priority. My experience with the people has also been great, from peers to leadership and I've always felt supported with my career goals by my direct manager.

Cons

The pay isn't as competitive as I've seen externally, but having a salary negotiation conversation with leadership has proven beneficial for me.
