Pros

I was able to move from the Underwriting Department to the IT Department to advance my career.

Cons

I was underpaid in the roll. Paid in experience verses money is not really a good way to keep employees. These was done to several employees that transitioned from Underwriting Department to the IT Department. We took that as work here for a year and gain experience and then look for a job at a new company that would start 20-30K more a year.

Great work culture

Pros

Excellent benefits include 401k, insurance, and other benefits such as personal liability excess insurance. Work from home 2.5 days a week and ample day PTO and personal holidays.

Cons

Slow advancement, low pay, and entry-level training are subpar. You must be individually motivated to learn about your role; there isn't a successful training program for new to-industry hires. Furthermore, there's often conflicts between Account executives and Brokers that negatively affect client results.
