-Although willing to hear you out, upper management is hesitant to implement good ideas -The leaders of the company often disregard the advice of their IT professionals -As the company grows its employees can feel the big-company atmosphere creeping up on them -Salary is well below average for its IT employees -There is no clear career path for IT employees

Accepting a position with Apex Capital has been one of the best decisions of my professional career. The leadership truly cares about employees and goes above and beyond what is expected to maintain a comfortable culture and creative environment. The strong commitment to education, training and personal development is evident through the many programs and benefits offered by the company. I continue to be impressed with the collaboration between departments within the company, and the willingness of all employees to work together toward reaching common goals.

Cons

Apex Capital's continual growth has caused some communication issues to arise on occasion. However, the willingness of all departments to adapt and grow is admirable.

They value your input and work ethic. As much as you put in, they'll give back. They encourage learning, both formally with fantastic tuition reimbursement and internally so you can explore your options and career path within the company. With a small but growing company, finding the "easy" path up the ladder isn't an option. You have to be driven to make your path. Great benefits, health and wellness program and overall culture. This is a great company to work for.

No specifics. With a growing company, there are always growing pains. Better communication is always something we can work on.
