Thank you for your feedback, as you mentioned our business is growing rapidly - we have an entrepreneurial culture that is fast-paced and high growth and we want to support our employees to get involved in that as an opportunity to develop their own personal careers. We have a wide range of professional development options and we’d like to support you with yours so please do check in with your local HR rep to discuss how we can develop our plan. We also encourage you to take part in our Mentoring Scheme if you aren’t already – the wellbeing of our people is absolutely at the core of our strategy and as an example, support from our mental health first aider programme is there for any employee that needs it, especially during this challenging period of COVID-19.
We are really proud to have maintained the stability of our business and protect the employment of our people throughout the pandemic and beyond and especially that despite the global pandemic, we were able to continue to invest in both the company and our people in 2020 through acquisitions and additional financial incentives and opportunities such as a bi-annual bonus, 100 Heroes and sales and client service incentives as well as offering our people the opportunity to encash part of annual holiday allowance they were not wanting to take due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions. In terms of salary increases, as part of the annual review process, merit based pay rises for UK employees were awarded in 2020 for those progressing in their roles or through promotions.
Incentives such as 100 Heroes seek to acknowledge and reward our employees who went above and beyond during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We place importance on peer-to-peer recognition as well as top down rewards, which is why 100 Heroes was a nominations process across the global group.
The bi-annual performance related bonus opportunity is related to company performance as well as individual performance. For other financial reward opportunities we have incentive schemes for client facing roles so encourage you to get involved in those too!
Our benefits structure reflects many companies within our industry. Some of our key employee policies go above and beyond many in the market, such as our healthcare policy is particularly comprehensive and covers many for additional nonstandard benefits such as dental and eye care. We are continuing to evolve our benefit and reward and recognition schemes to enhance the value for our people and have recently started working with a global benefits provider to a move Apex towards a globally aligned set of benefits for our people and to provide a more unified and consistent way to identify and celebrate reward and recognition across the Group.
We appreciate the last year and a half has been, for many, extremely challenging and we value your hard work and feedback. If you could like to discuss any of this further we welcome you to reach out to your local HR manager who can support in getting you involved in some of the aforementioned programs to support your development and reward opportunities.
