Pros

- you can decide how to get stuff done. No one tells you - As an IC if you are ready to focus on your own job.. this is the company. The environment offers very little challenge or distractions for people like that. For example, if you are lucky, you may not know who your manager is :) - it is really seeing a scale of usage with its customers that only truly successful software products ever witness ... there ARE a lot of hard technical problems that is worth spending time on

Cons

- "no titles or levels" claim is not really true - Top layers of managers are hired recently for scaling the company, that scale will come in next 2-3 years. In the meantime, those big shots introduced their own pets, big company-like processes and somewhat dampened the general enthusiasm and morale on the floor - Indian employees do not get much stock options
