Pros

Whip-smart, highly motivated people, inspiring culture, "everything I do matters" feeling. Great to be at the forefront of the API & app revolution. Awesome perks and benefits: free lunches (yummy & healthy), unlimited vacation days, free massage Thursdays, flexible hours, laid-back fun office environment. If you work hard, love what you do and are looking for the real Silicon Valley start-up atmosphere, Apigee is the place to be.

Cons

None so far, except that need to be careful not to put on too much weight from all the free food!

This company is doing it right

Pros

You will find many people here who internalize the popular equation: intelligence + hard work + a little luck = success. The company moves fast, the people even faster, and things get DONE. The culture is nurturing, yet it pushes you to do your best. And if you're into a variety of open-source technologies and the pursuit of learning, you will find there are an endless number of opportunities at Apigee.

Cons

Sometimes the lack of 'management' doesn't bring the 'A' game out of everyone, but that's few and far between If you like to be managed, Apigee isn't for you.

Look ma! No management!

Pros

Great benefits, flexible hours, cool technology, and well funded. There is plenty of work but you must be completely self-directed.

Cons

It's cool to have no real management, except when it's not. At your meet and greet, you get a pep talk from the CEO. You are told Apigee only hires SMART, white collar workers. This isn't a factory you know (frankly, it's more like a sweat shop). Someday, you're told, we'll write a book about how we did it. Yes but we have to figure out what it is first amidst the chaos.
