I work in the IT department, and have been here for almost 4 years. I have been compensated well, even with the downturn in the economy. I was able to get promoted within 2 years of working here, and I have worked for some great people.

Cons

Too many "reorgs"! Process, process, process! There seem to be so many processes that no work can get done in a decent amount of time. Also, even though this is a very large organization, there is still a "Mom n' Pop" mentality.

Decent pay, usually, for the amount of work given. Good benefits package and a lot of paid vacation time.

Cons

A great deal of the management does not seem to know what is going on. Policy changes are pretty frequent and are not always well communicated.
