      Declining student enrollment

      Pros

      The workload is reasonable for most people. The work schedule is flexible. You can work from home for 1-2 days a week which saves time and avoid the traffic jam. Employees care about student success.

      Cons

      The company is currently in financial trouble. University of Phoenix has seen a big decline in student enrollment. Every quarterly earning call is a disappointment which is often tied to a new round of layoff. Current employees are all worried about the future of the company.

      Pros

      Great co-workers, work remotely, good pay, good opportunities to meet people in different industries, very good continuing education for employees.

      Cons

      Lack of organizational direction, low morale, huge disconnect at the executive leadership level, losing industry credibility, degree programs at flagship university are way overpriced versus competitors.
