The people who work at Appfolio are fantastic and truly make the environment enjoyable.

Cons

In my department, we were consistently overworked, and I felt we were greatly underpaid for what we were expected to do. I also felt we were not valued as much as other departments in the company.

From Great to good...

Fun company events and trips out to Santa Barbara, CA along with an entertaining and lively sales team.

Cons

Upper management is largely out of touch with what occurs "in practice" regarding how the product is actually bought and sold by property management companies. Since the departure of the two main sales leaders/managers, it's become nothing but a boiler room and morale has decreased to the point that its hard to come to work.

Work-Life balance doesn't exist. Multiple times I have been asked to work weekends or late at night. Pay is not great, especially for the location of the office. Senior Leadership makes major $$$ while everyone else is scraping to get by. New leadership that took over in 2023 has changed the culture completely. The days of Jason Randle as CEO were much better. Makes sense as to why so many other senior leaders left the same time he did.
