      It is so refreshing to have a manager that is invested in my development and success as an employee, and also cares about my wellbeing as a person!

      Pros

      AppFolio leaders are supporting the organization through significant change in a way that prioritizes the well-being of employees. Managers create an open and approachable environment, actively seeking and valuing employee feedback. Working in the Office is a top-notch experience. From the exceptional facilities to the delicious coffee service, it's more than I've seen at any other company I've worked for.

      While every company has to navigate challenges, AppFolio does so in a people-focused way.

      New CEO came in and froze promotions/bonuses/raises, choosing stakeholders over employees

      Pros

      The people putting in the work to build the applications are amazing and talented. Best job I've worked at.

      Cons

      Promotions were frozen and employee growth/sentiment has been completely deflated. Since the new CEO came in, there has been a massive downward shift in employee happiness and it stretches from upper management down to regular individual contributors. Showing you value profits/shareholders over all else, especially every single employee is a poor look.
