Pros

This job has the best pay in a walkable distance from an on-campus dorm. They are also very flexible with your schedule and have good full time benefits.

Cons

They are somewhat stingy with raises and some parts of management can be unprofessional at times. Different areas of campus dining are unequal from others but pay remains the same.

Pros

I love working with the students. It's not for the appreciation, but it is nice to know that someone appreciates the amount of time I (and my colleagues) put in. The student body is growing constantly, but working in more of a student-support role means I still get to develop relationships with students, get to know them, and have them trust that I have their best interests in mind.

Cons

Entirely out of touch leadership in my department. We are not living in the same reality (or tax bracket) as each other. The work-life balance in my department is good and I can leave work at work, but the stress? Unable to leave that in the office.
