Pros
The people and the ability to work on products that benefit a billion people are the main draws.
Cons
Apple is very cheap with benefits, with providing tools you need to do to do you job, with the substandard cafeteria food (compared to other tech companies). The pay is significantly lower than its competitors. There is no encouragement of work/life balance.
