Pros

Great sales and recruiting training, very comprehensive and hands on approach. Gives you great career skills. Extensive autonomy. You get to choose what to specialize in and which industries to pursue. No cap on commission earned, if you put your mind to it you could make a lot of money. A lot of growth opportunities, very much merit based advancement. Company culture is great, hard to not get along with everyone.

Cons

Base pay is quite low, they say it's enough to keep the lights on and the real money should be coming from your commission, but the industry has highs and lows throughout the year. When it's good it's good, but when it's bad it's bad. Can become unstable if you do not balance out your billing clients. Long hours. Not your typical 9-5 job. Expect to be held to a strict schedule and have your hours monitored weekly even though it's a salary position.

Pros

Can't think of anything good to say about this company.

Cons

They lure you in with promises of good paying jobs that will be temp to hire. They place you in horrible working conditions (the owner disparages vets, homeless people, and yells at his wife while you're on the phone with customers). When the assignment doesn't go well due to lack of training and professionalism on the part of the company they place you with, they stonewall you instead of placing you in a new assignment. I called my recruiter and emailed her without response. It wasn't until I threatened to speak to a supervisor that she got on the phone with me. I pecifically asked about open positions on their website and what skills I could improve on while waiting for another assignment. I was told what happened at the company I was assigned to was no fault of my own, the owners blindsided Appleone with their unprofessinalism, and had they known how awful it was at that assignment they never would have placed me there. I was also told that my skills were fine. I get daily emails from job sites where Appleone has placed ads for open positions. Appleone says "those positions are upcoming and not ready yet." Or, my favorite line to date, "those positions are looking for something very targeted and specific." My recruiter even suggested that I go to other temp agencies. She is basically trying to dump me or pawn me off on other agencies.

Pros

I have been with AppleOne for 10-years. I absolutely love this company. It is family owned and so many of the branch offices have a very familial-feel to them. I have personally worked at multiple branches and can tell you that the heart of this company is amazing. Please don't judge an entire company by one bad experience. Just like anywhere, there are people you will get along with, and people you won't get along with. If you find yourself working in a branch where you don't fit in... ask for a transfer! This is a great company.

Cons

Very low salary, which is made up with the commission - but this makes it incredibly difficult to recruit talent. Bring the base salary up about 10-15% and it will make a big difference.
