Unreasonable Expectations

Pros

Everyone in the office is highly motivated and friendly.

Cons

There is NO ramp-up period what so ever. They set unrealistic goals for their employees and are too metric driven, goals should be adjusted to fit current market trends. For all the extra hours coming into work early, leaving late and working at your desk during lunch the pay and bonus structure is very LOW. No real feeling of accomplishment, work starts to feel like you just need to meet company goals, not help people find a job. Terrible training program.

Pros

Great environment for a first-time recruiter trying to learn the industry. There are a lot of opportunities for trainings and education pieces. Some good incentives, such an annual trip if you make your requirements, such as Jamacia.

Cons

Very focued on hitting goals and numbers consistantly and by all means necesary. Can be somewhat cut-throat amongst other recruiters for top candidates, as there is no ownership of candidates.
