Pros

Allows an opportunity to work in a fast pace environment, where quality is important. Knowledge comes from your team and shift liters that help settle you into the kitchen even if you're not used to working a full line. (Fry, mid, broil) You get one on one time prepping items and learning new recipes for each item that you will or will in the future make depending on how long you're employed.

Cons

Stressful in situations. Pay is only decent and having to work 5 years for the company before they will offer you any benefits is kind of ridiculous.
