      Pros

      Discounted meals, overall fun environment. Getting to deal with new and different people every day. Having some of the best co-workers of any job I've ever had.

      Cons

      The upper management is too focused on "the bottom line." It becomes more about hitting labor percentages than making the guests happy and providing good service.

      Pros

      Applebees was a great place to work. I started there as a junior in high school and worked there through college. Have worked part time a few times since

      Cons

      It was difficult at times to get time off, at least extended time. At the particular applebees I worked at, there were several employees that didnt speak english, with was obviously a down fall.

      easy to get hired

      Pros

      It's easy to get hired here. Several people got hired around the same week I did. Only 1 of them is left or hasn't finished up their 2 week notice. The reason is because of the location. It's in the heart of the city and the low quality clients that come in only tip like $2 and $5 so you can work for 9 hours straight and only leave with $45 bucks a couple nights in a row.

      Cons

      low tips and the computer order entry is quite un-user friendly. Computers are easy for me though so I learned it quick but others had trouble getting their routine down the first month.
