Pros

Comments apply to Brea site. The culture here is positive and supportive. Coworkers are respectful and helpful. There is decent accountability, so you don't have to worry about people not pulling their weight as much as other places I've worked. Leadership has strategic vision for keeping the company healthy and is willing to do what it takes to execute. Company values are taken seriously and leadership takes steps to realize them.

Cons

The corporate structure can be a little cumbersome at times. Initiatives that are flowed down from the highest levels sometimes don't seem value-added at the ground level.

Cons

Half of their senior leaders and senior personnel are severely unprofessional. Professionalism is the key to quality and effectiveness. Half of the senior group needs a class in what is acceptable behavior in the workplace in 2021. People don't quit bad jobs they quit bad leaders

Pros

After on-boarding with Applied Composites, I was welcomed by multiple team members and fully immersed in the company culture. The work environment is positive and supportive. Employees are willing to help and answer questions efficiently. I have had an amazing experience so far and can not wait to continue to grow and learn from this company.

Cons

Although I have had a great experience so far, I am aware that the internship program is new to Applied Composites. Going forward, I believe it would be beneficial for there to be an on-boarding process that caters more towards interns.
