      Good company to work for in R&D

      Pros

      Good company if you like to travel. R&D is still pretty intense and one can learn alot during the fast paced environment.

      Cons

      Personnel turnover is very high. Never fealt secure in jobs due to frequent rumours of layoffs that usually came true.

      Pros

      corporate philanthropy program, management promotes giving back to the community, benefits are above average, most of the people are friendly and helpful

      Cons

      revolving door mentality, constant downsizing and consolidation leaving employee morale on the low side, communication from the top could be better, lack of promotional opportunity

      A great place to work if you are NCG

      Pros

      Applied is a great place to start if you are just out of college or grad school. NCG program is wonderful. Applied really gives you the oppotunity to grow and become a manager after 3-5 years. Pay is ok but not great.

      Cons

      There is no such thing called life and work balance. You are expected to work over the weekend and long hours everyday.
