Pros

Lots of opportunity to learn new skills and acquire hands-on experience. You will always be busy handling multiple projects and supporting production needs.

Cons

There isn't much room to move up unless you want to be in a manager-type position. Process Development can be overwhelming when you have to juggle between all of your responsibilities, sometimes making it difficult to focus on your main projects. Above all, the compensation is lower than other medical device companies.
