      Great ideas, innovative products, good place to get a start

      Cons

      Family run private company. No communication. Good ol' boy network very strong. Many US Surgical ex's. People here today, gone tomorrow. Most let go without warning. Middle management a revolving door. Sales programs change quarterly. Many promises (stock, commissions, etc) few realities. HR non-existant

      Pros

      Great first job, lots of opportunities to learn and develop as a new engineer. Friendly, positive, open-door culture and great employees. Great culture, community outreach, and location.

      Cons

      Lower pay for industry, poor benefits, no employer investment/support in employee's professional development. Unclear management policies and rumors of nepotism aren't out of the blue.

      Pros

      Very busy, which I like. The people are fantastic and I have felt like a member of the Applied family since my first day. There is a lot of opportunity for growth! I have had the chance to work in more than one department and grow my career tremendously. I am not a young worker, yet the opportunities are as available to me as anyone else. I love the culture and the company. I hope to stay here until I retire.
