Unfortunately, the culture feels driven more by politics than performance. Advancement often depends on who you align yourself with rather than the quality of your work. There is a noticeable amount of favoritism, and it often feels like you have to “kiss up” to leadership in order to move forward. Many management roles are filled by very young leaders with limited real world or people management experience, which can lead to inconsistent direction, poor decision making, and a lack of empathy for employees. Feedback is not always welcomed, and concerns about workload or fairness are frequently dismissed rather than addressed. Unfair treatment is common, with expectations changing depending on who you are and who you know. This creates a stressful environment where hard work does not always translate into recognition or growth.
