Flag organization; lots of opportunities for professional development

Cons

Pros

I cannot think of anything good.

Cons

management doesn't exist at any level in this company. Everyone is in it for themselves. All managers are over paid and must under pay rest of employees to be able to find work. This is a company that lives of government contracts, and they will not tell you upfront you are responsible for finding your own work, if you don't find work you will not survive.

Long commute, could be boring

Pros

When there are things to do, it can be interesting. Also working with other agencies on collaborative projects is good.

Cons

Commute from DC can be 2.5 hours or more. This position is shift work, so the hours are very long and occasionally at night.
