      Long commute, could be boring

      Pros

      When there are things to do, it can be interesting. Also working with other agencies on collaborative projects is good.

      Cons

      Commute from DC can be 2.5 hours or more. This position is shift work, so the hours are very long and occasionally at night.

      Lower pay but great better benefits than most other companies. The work is nice and challenging on a daily basis

      Flexible and interesting work. It keeps me engaged and challenged on a daily basis. This is Great place to work

      Contract work can end abruptly. If you are talented you will have no shortage of work however if you are a slow learner or struggle in your field you will find your job at risk

      Pros

      Solid company in the government contracting space. The projects they work on are very innovative, it's a company you can be proud of working for. Lots of smart and talented employees The retirement benefits are unmatched with any other employer I've ever had.

      Cons

      The contracting industry is very restrictive, lots of rules. Some projects are more stable than others.
