Pros

Applied took a leap of faith on me straight out of college. I was very passionate about Autodesk design software and wanted to share my passion with the manufacturing industry in the Southeast. Applied put me in front of companies I could only dream of before starting my career. I am young and have plenty to learn. They never punished me for a mistake and always praised me for success. This gave me the confidence to be the person I am today. All of the team felt like family to me. I decided to take a job at a startup risking everything great Applied had to offer. They stood behind me and encouraged me to chase my dreams. I still feel like I work for Applied because I would recommend anyone in need of product or architectural design software or training to talk to them first. This company is a true gem in the Autodesk Reseller Channel.

Needs a website overhaul soon.

Applieed was an amazing company, Graitec USA is an abject disaster

Pros

Applied Software earned and deserved rhe accolades it received. The people are rock stars, and leadership was able to instill high morale for the teams.

Cons

The acquisition destroyed this company. Pay and benefits have been slashed to create the illusion of increased profitability. Senior leadership, especially those brought in by Graitec lack any clue how to run a reseller org in the US. HR was a joke before, and they have destroyed any credibility they had parroting Graitec’s “improvements.” Graitec’s unstated goal is clearly to churn away existing, higher paid employees at the cost of our customers’ experience. The new folks they are hiring are green, clueless, and ineffective. This is a trend that leadership seemingly wholeheartedly endorses based on the choices they have made.
